What this means for you
When we describe a capability, we describe it as software design, development, automation,
administration or decision-support. Where work touches a regulated domain, we build the
software and keep qualified people in control of regulated decisions - we do not step into
roles we are not licensed for.
In concrete terms: we can build the software a clinic uses to organise its administration,
but we do not practise medicine; we can build the tools a finance team uses to see its
numbers clearly, but we do not give financial advice; we can engineer secure software, but
we do not issue security certifications. The decision that the law reserves for a
qualified professional always stays with that professional. Our software supports their
work, records what happened, and keeps a person in control of the outcome.
Why we are explicit about this
A lot of AI marketing blurs the line between “software that helps with X” and “a service
that does X for you”. That ambiguity is exactly where trust breaks down and where clients
end up exposed. We would rather be precise about what we are licensed to do, because it
protects you as much as it protects us - you always know who is accountable for what, and
there are no surprises about the limits of what we have delivered.
It also keeps our advice honest. If a request falls outside this scope, we will tell you
plainly rather than stretch a description to win the work, and where we can we will point
you toward the right kind of regulated specialist. If you are ever unsure whether what you
need fits, ask us first.
